One more hearty cheer!
Unbelievably, the rain has stopped and the covers are beginning to come off! While the remainder of the ground is still covered in shiny white sheets that have a lot of water on them, they have begun by removing the pitch overs. Play will resume in just under 40 minutes, so if there isn't any more rain, it will be a race against time.The officials have now begun to approach the pitch cautiously on the covers in order to take a look. KKR declining, PBKS increasing
Before their match at Eden Gardens, the trajectories of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) could not have been more different.In 2025, it began.
